Located between the Loire and Vilaine, the salt-water marshes of Guérande constitute an exceptional inheritance. Since nearly 1 500 years, of the generations of paludiers created and maintained this single landscape. Their technique of artisanal production respects the environment and contributes to the ecological richness of the site, as the presence testifies some to 180 species of birds. |

Proposed by LPO, four visits are proposed to you to discover the ornithological richness of the area: they have as subjects "Feathers of the winter", "Feathers of the estuary", "Feathers of spring" and "Feathers of spring in the twilight". The reservation for these visits is obligatory, at the LPO. These visits are highly advised for the children as from 8 years. |

• The Collégiale Saint-Aubin in Guérande |

It is an outstanding example of the Breton religious architecture of the wine of XVe century and beginning of XVIe. Bell-tower with the bell-tower, the arrow of the Western frontage changes several times of aspect. The current bell-tower is high after the collapse of the neo-gothic arrow in 1876. The Collegial one is classified Historic building since 1856.

• The Castle of Careil (02 40 60 22 99) |

Between Baule and Guérande, overhanging the salt-water marsh, Careil, thanks to its long intact fortiviée wall and its courintérieure, the evolution of Breton architecture shows. Its role was of foreground in the wars of religion.
